The enthusiastic volunteers of G.O.D Australia aim to make a difference to their local environment by participating in the Clean Up Australia day every year.  It is said, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”.  To help make our environment clean is not only our duty but also a good step towards cleansing our inner selves. If we do this accompanied by the chanting of the Maha Mantra, the effect on the inner purification is manifold.

We have been participating in this unique event since 2010. In Sydney, we have organised clean-ups at Parramatta, Strathfield, Lindfield, Pendle Hill, Winston Hills and Wentworthville in the previous years.

Students of Sydney Gopa Kuteeram take a key role in cleaning up a couple of reserves in Winston Hills and Wentworthville on Clean Up Australia days for the past many years.
